LGs dualcore Tegra 2 Android phone first images

first_imgLG is set to raise the performance bar early next year when its LG Star Android handset launches. We can safely say that’s going to happen as it’s the first dual-core Android smartphone to hit the market. The Star will use a Tegra 2 processor and combine it with a 4″ display. It sounds impressive even without seeing it, but Engadget managed to get some images of the device. The camera on the back is 8 megapixels and records 1080p video, it has a front-facing second camera, microSD card slot, microUSB connection, and a 1,500mAh battery. The huge 4″ touchscreen will be able to playback 1080p video too. The only unknown is what version of Android it runs, but as it’s not out until next year we hope it’s Gingerbread. The name LG Star is being used internally, but everyone expects that to change before release in early 2011.Read more at Engadgetlast_img read more
